Anna’s House is about a girl that stays in a shack and she is having a best friend, Carin, in school. Anna didn’t want to go to school because the other children tease her about where she is staying. Carin told her that she must ignore the naughty kids. Anna’s mom and dad informed her that some of the kids at school have everything but not love and that she is beautiful inside and outside.
This book have a lesson to learn for old and young: Do not think you are better than anyone. If your friends do not have as much as you do, it doesn’t make them bad people. To have money doesn’t make you better than anyone. Money is not everything. Be proud of your home. Accept your friends and neighbours for who they are and not what they have!
